Primary tabs

Please join us on Friday January 20, 2017, as we continue the weekly peace vigil on the night of the inauguration of the next US president.  Vigil will be followed by a meeting for worship, period of reflection and opportunity for worship sharing.  We will continue to hold our banners:
       Love Thy Neighbor (No Exceptions),
Black Lives Matter - We are All One People, and
       No Hate.
Participants are welcome to carry compatible signs with positive and constructive messages bearing on the change in the national government.

Where and When:  Homewood Friends Meetinghouse, 3107 N. Charles Street, 5-6 pm; worship immediately thereafter.
Friends’ Peace Testimony:  Quakers' testimony of peace includes the commitment to boldly wage peace with justice. Friends have a settled intention to practice love and to make peace. Since their beginnings over 300 years ago, Friends have been led by their commitment to the ideal of peace to renounce wars and violence.  We are called as peacemakers to deal with the violence and aggression within ourselves, and our communities, to find ways of living in harmony with ourselves and neighbors. Many Baltimore Quakers are seeking, individually and collectively, to create a strategic nonviolent revolution to attain and sustain healing justice.  Join us.
