Stony Run Friends Meeting is a co-sponsor of the October 19, 2007 conference, 'The Effects of War on Women and the Environment in Israel/Palestine'. This is one of a number of public events organized by Women's Peace Exchange - a wonderful real life application of peacemaking!

Nurturing the Seeds of Peace is a women’s peace initiative organized by a group of Quaker, Muslim, Jewish and other women in the Washington, DC metro area. A delegation of Palestinian women, Israeli women and representatives of the UK-based “Women to Women for Peace” will be in the Washington, DC / Baltimore, MD area at the following public events:
